Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Harborview Operations LLC and licensed VIX Ticketing organizers process information through VIX Ticketing websites, box offices, retail POS locations, scanners and related support operations.

Ticketing and account information

Depending on the transaction or service, VIX may process name, email, phone number, order and ticket information, payment status and external payment references, access scans, device/security information, support records and audit events. VIX does not require retail sellers to enter payment-card numbers into the VIX POS; card entry remains with the approved payment terminal or payment provider.

Ticket identity and Wallet ID

Identity-enabled VIX tickets use an attendee identity profile. A current headshot may be captured during online checkout, retail POS sale, ticket assignment, or through a VIX-powered white-label wallet. The encrypted headshot is linked to the attendee's VIX identity reference and ticket credentials so authorized event staff can perform manual identity review when an event requires it.

For orders containing more than one ticket, each credential must be assigned to its actual attendee before identity-required admission. One purchaser photo is not treated as the identity for an entire group.

Cash-sale identity verification

Cash ticket sales add a government-ID verification step. The seller records the ID type, issuer and last four characters and captures the ID image. The full ID number is converted to a keyed, non-reversible fingerprint used for a cash identity reference and is not stored in plaintext.

Identity images are encrypted at rest and stored outside the public website. VIX does not create a facial-recognition template or perform automated face matching from these images.

Phone biometrics and passkeys

Where enabled, VIX and white-label wallets may use WebAuthn/passkeys so the attendee can approve wallet or ticket actions with the phone's fingerprint, face unlock, device PIN or other local authenticator. The biometric itself remains on the user's device; VIX receives cryptographic authentication evidence rather than the raw fingerprint or facial template.

Attendance and access history

Ticket scans can record the event, gate, permitted zone, result and time for access control, security and operational history. Attendees may choose to display successful gate and zone history in their wallet. Optional cross-event attendance insights are separate and are not enabled by default. VIX does not use this feature for continuous GPS tracking.

Identity-image access and retention

Access to cash-sale ID images is restricted to authorized POS managers and platform administrators and is audit logged. Encrypted identity images are scheduled for deletion after the applicable event plus a post-event retention window, subject to a longer period where required for an active investigation, legal obligation or preservation request. The non-reversible identity fingerprint, masked ID reference and transaction audit history may be retained for security, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

How information is used

Information may be used to process ticket orders and credentials, deliver tickets, manage access, operate retail or box-office sales, calculate commissions and settlements, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security and satisfy contractual, accounting and legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

Information is available only to the licensed organizer, Harborview Operations LLC and authorized service providers or personnel who need it for the ticketing service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service.

Security

VIX uses access controls, audit logging, restricted server storage and encryption for protected identity images. No security system eliminates all risk; access is limited according to operational role and need.
