Necessary technologies
These technologies support security, authentication, sessions, fraud prevention, load balancing, form protection and storing privacy choices. They are used only to the extent reasonably necessary for a requested service or security function.
Preference technologies
Optional preference storage can remember non-essential interface or service settings. Harborview's consent manager keeps this category off until the user enables it.
Analytics
Analytics technologies may be used to understand service usage and performance. On pages using the Harborview consent framework, optional analytics must not load until the analytics category has been enabled.
Marketing and advertising
Marketing, cross-context behavioral advertising or similar tracking technologies are treated as optional. Where applicable law gives an opt-out right for sale, sharing or targeted advertising, Harborview's implementation is designed to respect that choice.
Global Privacy Control
Where the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, Harborview's consent manager treats it as an instruction to keep the marketing/cross-context advertising category disabled. Additional service-specific processing may require separate handling where applicable law requires it.
Manage your settings
Privacy choices are stored locally in the browser so the site can remember them. Clearing browser storage may reset those choices.
